PSE Compound Bows

For greater accuracy and improved velocity and distance, a compound bow is the perfect choice. We are proud to stock a range of high quality compound bows to meet your archery and bow hunting needs.

Superior Drawing Power

Compound bows feature a more rigid riser. Risers come in a range of materials, including aircraft grade aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and carbon fiber for a well designed riser that will hold its shape as the bow goes to work. The main difference – the very thing that makes compound bows special – is the system of pulleys. Also known as cams, these pulleys are positioned at the end of the bow limbs. As the string is drawn back, the cam system reduces the amount of effort needed to draw the string back further, supporting a smooth and strong draw.

The use of cams in a compound bow means that more energy is stored earlier in the draw as compared to a longbow or recurve bow. The early storing of energy adds up to a smoother and flatter draw back and, when the time comes to release the arrow, a faster and smoother shot than would be expected from another bow of equal weight.

A Bow For All Weathers

Unlike their longbow and recurve counterparts, compound bows are exceptionally resistant to moisture, humidity and changes in temperature. That means greater speed, accuracy and velocity as the bow remains immune to the conditions around it. No more having a draw affected by damp conditions or a wooden bow becoming more stiff and brittle if the temperature drops.

Compound bows also lend themselves well to use with stabilizers and dampers, making for a much smoother release with less bow movement and increased speed. You may also choose to use sights with your compound bow to aid in accuracy.

We stock a range of compound bows from top manufacturers, including PSE, Diamond, Quest and Martin, along with all the accessories you need for the perfect archery rig. If you're looking for a durable and high quality bow with a smoother and faster shot, take a look at our compound bows selection today.
