Elk or Venison Burger Steak

Ingredients


 

1lb Elk or Venison Burger
1/2 cup allegro hickory smoke marinade.. 
1 medium chopped onion
1 ea red, green, yellow pepper chopped
1 slice of your favorite cheese (We like pepper jack) for each burger
olive oil

Directions


Mix burger and allegro in a bowl and let set for 1hour or so.  Put small amount of olive oil in large skillet on medium heat. Form burgers to the size you want.  When oil is hot put in burgers cook on one side for 3to 4 mins, the slower you cook the better.  When you turn over the burgers add the peppers and onions to one side of skillet then add extra allegro to the onions and peppers to marinade as the burgers cook.  When veggies are soft spoon some of the mixture on top of burger and add slice of cheese allow cheese to melt, put burger on plate and add more onion mixture on top make a side salad and enjoy. This also works with beef and turkey burger.
